Tyler Cherry is a Vice President at HELLER, where he leads corporate, crisis, and strategic communications strategies for the nation’s top companies and executives navigating complex challenges and high-stakes moments. A seasoned strategist with more than a decade of experience spanning the White House, major national campaigns, and corporate and advocacy work, Tyler brings deep expertise in media relations, message development, crisis response, and reputation management across political, legal, and policy landscapes. Before joining HELLER, Tyler served in the White House as Associate Communications Director, leading strategic and crisis communications for the federal government’s climate, energy, infrastructure, and AI portfolios and serving as chief communications strategist for the President’s senior climate advisors. Previously, he was Communications Director at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he led media, digital, and internal communications for the 70,000-person agency. Earlier in his career, he directed rapid response communications for the Biden-Harris campaign in Arizona and advised corporate and advocacy clients at at a national public affairs firm. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles.
